Kiss FM Australia is Melbourne’s original dance music radio station. They first came to Australia in 2001 and although the Australian Broadcasting Authority saw a need for this type of radio station they refused Kiss FM a community license to broadcast. They were not gone for long, in 2005 Kiss FM (Australia, Melbourne 87.6 FM) returned as a narrowcast radio service and once again began to broadcast the best Dj’s in Melbourne.
Listeners of this site are interested only in music and as a result Kiss FM has chosen not to have a large number of presenters. The music itself is a mix of new and old but is very focused on electronic sounds and techno dance mixes.
