Mission ZabFM mission is to provide a 24/7 educational radio station of the students, for the students, by the students.
ZABFM SZABIST launches its university FM radio channel titling; ZabFM 106.6. It is a non-commercial Radio Broadcast Station, exclusively to impart and disseminate education to the students. The license for this Campus Radio is issued by Federal Government of Pakistan under Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) on 18th June 2007. ZabFM 106.6 started its test transmission within 3-months, on 14th September, 2007. Currently on-air programs are: Morning Show (drive time), Campus Round-up (to cover in-and-out of campus activities of the students), Study Room (Review A Book), And most important part to keep listeners informed with the latest and authentic information, it brings Research News, Documentaries, Stories, Book Reviews, Info Tech. Developments and much more in collaboration with NPR & Meri Awaz Suno.
The 24/7 programming mix covers variety of shows related to Career Planning and Development, Health awareness, Talk Shows, Sports, Travel, Science & Technology, Media Round-up, Info. Tech., Social Order etc.
