ABC Television is currently the leader in Australia for broadcasting the largest volume of children’s content. ABC for Kids is the brand name of the children’s content that the ABC Television network broadcasts.

ABC for Kids content is broadcasted on channel ABC1 on weekdays from 3pm to 4pm. ABC1 does not broadcast preschooler content on Saturday. On Sunday, it broadcasts ABC for Kids from 6:30 to 7am.
On the channel ABC2, ABC 4 Kids is broadcasted from 6am to 6pm, for 12 hours in all, on weekdays. On Saturdays, the schedule is the same on ABC2. This applies to Sunday as well. After these timings, the channel changes to ABC2 and broadcasts sport shows, magazine shows and reports. Broadcast timings change on school holidays as well.
